I-Doser V5 is Here!
When I-Doser v4 was released in 2007 it revolutionized the way people experienced alternate realities. Now, after 5 years of development, they have released V5 for computers. A completely revamped and free application, I-Doser can help you achieve a simulated mood or experience through the use of advanced audio sequences. Read more…
In 2007 the world of binaural brainwave software was a relativity new field. Sure, there were some software products on the market, but they were cheap, weak, and had little or no support or backing community. I-Doser revolutionized the market with the release of their 4th version of their software back in 2007 and it quickly became the second best-selling science application on CNET, only behind Google Earth. Now, after almost 5 years of development, their version 5 is released…. And, my God, it is amazing.
Thankfully, they still kept their base software free (get it here). This robust software will play the free included doses or I-Doser sells hundreds of additional doses in their I-Doser store that can be played through the application. While I would venture to say that some of the included doses are a bit on the weak side, for just a few more dollars you can add some truly powerful simulations to your dose library and really take advantage of the product.

Music Enhancement Rendering
Music Enhancement Rendering! Let me put it this way: Have you ever listed to binaural sequences in an attempt to achieve a simulated mood or experience? They can be long, sound like alternating tones, and (to say the least) they are an acquired taste. With the premium version of I-Doser you can mix these tones with your own music or use one of the 10 beautiful ambient backgrounds included in the premium version. Let me tell you! What a difference this makes! Don’t worry, you can still get the free version here if you don’t want to upgrade just yet.
Library Management is a nice addition, keeping all your doses in neat order. Things like the Hyper-Skins truly let you customize your application and make it look exactly how you want. It truly is a beautifully designed piece of software.
For me, the big winner is MP3 export. Now I can take I-Doser’s award-winning line of long binaural sequences and convert them to mp3 for my mobile device. Sure, I-Doser has offered CDs and MP3s, but they are typically shorter sequences. I can export full-on binaural simulations to MP3 – and it is awesome.
All in all, you owe it to yourself to at least try the free version. Upgrading to the premium version is recommended, but give this exciting and new technology a try with the free. You won’t be disappointed.
