MBTI Test to Find Personality Type

MBTI Personality Type Personality Test

We base this personality test on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator, or MBTI, reflective self-report. Use this test to show how you observe the world and make critical choices. Sensation, feeling, intuition, and thinking are the four major emotional roles. This personality test will reveal your personality type.

Prepare for MBTI

First of all, to take this test, you will need a few simple items. Please grab a pencil or pen and a piece of paper. We do not recommend using a computer or mobile device to take notes, as you should only focus on the screen showing the personality test. Certainly write down anything that comes to mind during this test, even if not related to the evaluation. Likewise, your notes will give valuable insight into your thought process. We also recommend a pair of headphones. This personality test uses advanced binaural beat audio induction to clear your mind and guarantee the most accurate results possible. No MBTI test available uses this form of mindful technology to refine results. This audio induction works best with headphones.

Using induction audio guarantees you take the test in the best mindset possible for the most accurate results. We have recommended a video blow that you can play in the background. During the test, you will be asked one question and given two possible answers. Choose one of the two answers that best describe you. Do not pick an answer until you have reviewed both. Let’s begin with the first question.

MBTI Question One

MBTI Question 1

Question 1: It’s Friday night. You just had the toughest week of your life. It seemed endless, tiring, and you are completely exhausted. Literally, nothing seemed to go right. How do you plan to spend your weekend?

MBTI Question One / Answer One

Answer 1: You will call your friends and ask about their plans. Maybe you will consider trying a new restaurant. You heard there is a great movie coming out this weekend that you might want to see. There is a meeting for one of the social clubs you frequent. If you chose this answer, you are an Extrovert. Write down the letter E in your notes.

MBTI Question One / Answer Two

Answer 2: You need some alone time after your tough week. You will put your phone on “do not disturb.” You would much rather spend the night on the couch watching some TV than go to that new movie in the theater. A puzzle or a book sounds nice after your long week. If you chose this answer, you are an Introvert. Write down the letter I.

MBTI Question Two

MBTI Question 2

Question 2: This is simply a self-reflective question. Even more, we ask you to answer based on your first reaction only. It certainly can be difficult for us to judge ourselves, which is why such a self-reflective question is essential. Simply: Which of these descriptions suits you more?

MBTI Question Two / Answer One

Answer 1: The most important thing to you is here and now. You assess and evaluate situations and pay close attention to detail. If you chose this answer, write down the letter S in your notes. You are the Sensing type.

MBTI Question Two / Answer Two

Answer 2. Facts are boring. You love to dream and play over upcoming events in your mind often. Your intuition is your guide, and you generally trust your instinct not to lead you astray. In fact, you rely more on your ability than information. If you are more this option, write down the letter N. You are the Intuitive type.

MBTI Question Three

MBTI Question 3

Question 3: You are happily employed, but a competitor is trying to entice you. You love the people you work with now, but the salary is much higher at the competitor. However, the head of your current department has hinted that he would recommend you for a big promotion when he retires. How are you going to make this decision?

MBTI Question Three / Answer One

Answer 1: You will learn everything you can about the competitor. Even more, you will possibly visit HR and talk to other professionals for advice. Finally, you might draw up a chart with the pros and cons of each decision. It is essential, and you should weigh all the arguments and make an informed choice.

MBTI Question Three / Answer Two

Answer 2: You will listen to your feelings and follow your heart. You find happiness by listening to your intuition and following your instinct. You follow your passions. Your mind, heart, ability, and intuition will lead you in the right direction.

MBTI Question Four

MBTI Question 4

Question 4: Your best friend is getting married, and there are only two weeks left before the big day. You are in the wedding party and have a lot of responsibilities. How are your preparations going?

MBTI Question Four / Answer One

Answer 1: A month ago, you picked out the band that will play at the wedding. You made all the appointments with a stylist and makeup artist. You bought the gift weeks ago. There might be a few small things to get done, but you are ready! If you chose this answer, write down J. You are the Judging type.

MBTI Question Four / Answer Two

Answer 2: Why prepare? You will improvise and get it all done on time. However, this improvisation does not mean you are irresponsible. After all, the best things happen spontaneously. Life has a way of working it out. It will get done, and things will be fine. If this answer is more accurate, you are a Perceiving type. Write down P.

This was a great test. I test many in different test. The first result is INFJ (twice) and the second is INTP. Sometime i’ll be more INFJ and sometime can be INTP. I don’t know 😅😅😅

  3. John karl says:

I think the percentage matters a lot too…cus we dont want false dichotomies..it’s a continuum right. I took the test 3 times: high school, college, professional, even the numbers are still the same😂~only 2-5-point differences…im close to 50% for all except introversion…i was a little surprised how my personality never changes😂i like the spi 27 test too..

Can someone help me, I’m confused if I’m extrovert or introvert. I’m a shy person but when I’m with my friends at school sometimes I’m loud

  5. The Wanderer says:

Awesome job explaining something so complex! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

  6. If you have an anxiety disorder or… let’s say ADHD, would these results be accurate at all? Because I got an absolutely inaccurate result. I’m not sure I even buy this whole personality type system honestly.

  7. Tim Olivant says:

INFJ and diagnosed: MBTI obsessed since 2013!

  8. ab montana says:

Am I the only one who’s none of the 4 functions? I have traits of both “sending” and “intuition”, and same goes for a lot of other things in these personality tests. Help.

  9. John K. Freeman says:

I suggest looking more into the cognitive functions that Carl Jung originally came up with: there’s introverted and extroverted sensing, thinking, intuition, and feeling. Everyone has one of these functions and two introverted functions and extroverted functions. For example, I’m an ESFP, so I have extroverted sensing, introverted feeling, extroverted thinking, and introverted intuition

  10. Matty "Pumpkin Spice" Smith says:

I think I’ll never type myself correctly haha When I took a test I got INFJ but I overthink this and I don’t know what personality type I have (also people on MBTI amino say that test isn’t accurate and people shouldn’t take it). I once heard that INFJ’s have tendencies to be intrested in astrology, occultism, magic and tarot, because they hate small talks and they like talking about more “important” things (such as morality). And if I’m an INFJ then that’s true. Anyway, I’m probably INFJ, ISFP or ISTP. I think that MBTI is a confusing topic and no matter what others will prove me I still like astrology more because it’s more specific and can tell more about person.

  11. The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator is a self-report inventory designed to identify a person’s personality type, strengths, and preferences. The questionnaire was developed by Isabel Myers and her mother Katherine Briggs based on their work with Carl Jung’s theory of personality types. Today, the MBTI inventory is one of the most widely used psychological instruments in the world.

  12. By helping people understand themselves, Myers and Briggs believed that they could help people select occupations that were best suited to their personality types and lead healthier, happier lives. Thanks for posting a comprehensive MBTI overview and test. So many of them online are just not very accurate. Make sure to watch the video attached to this post also. It has an actual video based test in it.

This has to be the best MBTI test I could find online and I have tried a lot! Seems so many are incomplete or made by non-professionals. Just wanted to tell you keep up the fantastic work!
